Who we are
Mid-western Region Anti-Corruption Coalition (MIRAC) was conceived out of the realization that the region needed a platform through which the CSOs and/or individuals could express and address corruption issues, thereby promoting transparency and accountability in public office, improving service delivery, empowering people with knowledge about their rights and responsibilities; and enhancing social justice through anti-corruption campaigns and advocacy among other programs.

Mid-western Region Anti-Corruption Coalition is a registered indigenous nongovernmental organization with Uganda NGO Board since 2012 with over 28 active member NGOs and community groups. Mid-western Region Anti-Corruption Coalition (MIRAC) is a regional network of CSOs operating in seven districts of Bunyoro/Mid-western region of Masindi, Hoima, Buliisa, Kiryandogo, Kakumiro, kagadi and Kibaale. MIRAC has built capacity to engage citizens, CSOs, government, private sector, media and other development partners to embrace and respond to development interventions for effective participation and social empowerment.
